The Sensor

The Sensor is located on the first point of contact for any thief, the pit lid.  The sensor is attached to the underside of the pit lid with our purpose-built bracket.  The sensor is battery operated with up to a 16-year life.  The sensor is connected to a protected antenna enclosure securely mounted to the outside of the pit lid to allow communication with a gateway up to distances of 400m.

The Gateway is typically located inside a power distribution board that provides access to main power.  The Gateway receives the alerts from the sensor via an external antenna and relays this information to The Software via a GSM link through a second external antenna.

The Software is your link to the Cerberus system.  The software allows for the setup of the system and your choice of alert.  Once triggered Cerberus will provide an immediate alert allowing for the quickest response possible.
